ISSUANCE OF BUILDING PERMIT

REQUIREMENTS

  • Duly accomplished Prescribed Application Forms
  • Barangay Clearance for Construction (with Cedula) (1 Original, 3 Photocopies)
  • Clearance for Construction from Homeowners’ Association, if any (1 Original, 3 Photocopies)
  • Fire Safety Evaluation Clearance
  • Zoning Certificate/ Clearance for Construction
  • PLO Certificate (Power Line Operator Certificate)
  • In case the applicant is the registered owner of the lot: (1 Original, 3 Photocopies)
    1. Certified True Copy of TCT/ OCT
    2. Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration
    3. Photocopy of Current Real Property Tax Receipt
  • In case the applicant is not the registered owner of the lot, submit a photocopy of a duly notarized Contract of Lease or Deed of Absolute Sale (4 Photocopies) Award Notice or Notarized SPA
  • If the TCT is under CLOA (agricultural land), awarded by DAR, please submit DAR and MARPO Clearance(1 Original, 3 Photocopies)
  • Five (5) sets each of the following Ancillary Plans and Documents signed and sealed over the printed name of the duly licensed and registered professionals.
    1. Geodetic Documents (Lot Plan)
    2. Bill of materials and Cost Estimates
    3. Specifications
    4. Architectural Plan
    5. Civil/ Structural Plan
    6. Electrical Plan
    7. Sanitary Plan
    8. Plumbing Plan
    9. Mechanical Plan, if necessary
    10. Electronics Plan, if necessary
  • 3 Photocopies of PRC ID and PTR of Duly Registered Professionals who signed the plans and documents, with original signed and sealed
  • DPWH Clearance for projects along National Road and designated waterways within local jurisdiction where the project is sited
  • DOLE approved Construction Health and Safety Program
  • Additional for Plumbing Plan: 
    • NOTES FOR SEPTIC TANK CONSTRUCTION AND PLAN
      1. Three (3) chambers
      2. Three (3) manholes (MH) and Three (3) Cleanouts (CO) each chamber shall have its own MH and CO
      3. All reinforced concrete flooring
      4. Minimum of 1.20 meters liquid depth
      5. Minimum of .20 meter deep for air space
  • Additional for Civil/ Structural Plan:
    • FOR BUILDING HAVING TWO (2) STOREYS OR MORE
      1. Submit 3 Copies of Structural Analysis Computation (Signed and Sealed)
    • FOR BUILDING HAVING TWO (3) STOREYS OR MORE
      1. Submit 2 Copies of Soil Boring Test – Geotechnical Report (signed and sealed)
  • Additional for Electrical Plan: 
    • AS PER R.A. 7920, ART. 4, SEC. 31
      1. Submit 3 Copies of Electrical Design Analysis (Signed and Sealed)

STEPS

  1. Submit the necessary requirements for the application of a Building Permit with duly accomplished Building Permit Form
  2. Receipt of payment
  3. Proceed to the Cashier at Office of the Municipal Treasurer for corresponding fee
  4. Present Official Receipt to the Municipal Engineer and wait for the release of the permit
